Life

The question of happiness is one everyone thinks about and looks for answers to. Many people try to “buy” their happiness in the form of things, or lifestyle upgrades. Becoming Minimalist describes three things to focus on to increase your happiness. Spend Your Money on These Three Things to Increase Happiness, According to Science

With the cooling weather and holidays around the corner, I wrote a post on making and trying out hot cocktails. Thought this was a good place to include them 🙂 Cheers! 6 Hot Cocktails To Keep You Warm & Festive This Winter

As a self-certified bookworm, I try to make sure I read every day, and I’m always on the lookout for book recommendations and booklists. This one by Tidbits of Care brings us a throwback to the classics. It’s definitely worth looking through because the classics so often still show up in our current pop culture. With the information we get basically controlled by what we click on and search for online, it’s worth noting that often we are given information that reinforces what we already think. Our echo chambers just reflect back what we have already decided to believe. Without diverse opinions entering that chamber and forcing us to think, we gotta ask, and Handful of Thoughts writes it out for us: Is Your Echo Chamber Limiting Your Growth?

Travel

It’s difficult to get out and about nowadays, but I thought this post by Kasia Writes was helpful: Books to inspire travel lovers in your life. I know I’m recommending a lot of reading, but this is even a great gift idea for the travel junkie that you know!

I like shopping on Black Friday because of all the deals I can get. I look for electronic upgrades, stocking up on household items that go on sale, and get gift ideas for the holidays. A Dime Saved has tips on shopping this time of year and how not to overspend: The Best Black Friday Tips for 2020.
