Another way to cut expenses is to get rid of cable. Does anyone even watch cable anymore? I personally got rid of mine over a year ago. I just pay for internet and subscription services for Amazon, Netflix and Hulu. My total comes to $91 per month (That’s prorating my annual Amazon prime service, the cost for Netflix and Hulu and the cost of my internet). My original payment before cutting cable was $151 per month. So quite a bit of savings there, and I definitely don’t miss cable. If you’re someone that needs to see live TV though, there is a way to do it for free. The Frugal Physician discovered it as well: get an antenna. If you love to shop this time of year ( I definitely do, I feel like I can get the best deals and stock up on certain items for the year), then this post by Girl October is for you.
