Weekend Toast July 29, 2018

Sharing is caring!

The “Weekend Toast” series is a collection of recently published articles by other bloggers that I put together to share. Consider this your one stop shop for remaining up-to-date on being a badass ????

So, grab your drink of choice, put your feet up and get ready to read!

This week: some negotiating; some mint; some leasing questions and life advice!

Are you good at negotiating? I’m not. Women are notoriously bad at it, especially when it relates to our jobs and asking for higher pay or better benefits/options.  Women who money invites you to try to approach a negotiation as a problem to solve rather than a game to play.  Something to learn and consider in:  How to Get Better at Negotiating? Try to get to Yes.

How many products do we use that have vitamins, salicylic acid and god knows what else to help keep our skin looking clean, smooth and clear.  Well purchasing all those products can become very expensive. An alternate way to treat yourself is via home, or natural, remedies.  I personally love to use them myself; it’s natural and can save you a ton of money.  The Wrinkle Helper brings you Mint in skin care that describes the many uses of mint! Check it out and see what you think.

The Water Whole talks about the power and importance of being consistent in life and how that can elevate you in The Truth About Being Consistent.  Plus check out his “Resilient Women” series where he interviews strong badass women and get’s their take on life!

For a lot of newbie professional graduates out there, I know you’re thinking of spending money on an upgrade.  Because why not? You want to see the fruits of your labor in a tangible, I can touch and enjoy it, way.  A go to purchase that I’ve noticed is a shiny new car.  Alternatively, I’ve heard and seen people choose the leasing option.  I’ve always heard that leasing is a bad idea, but Rockstar Finance shares a story by Miked Up Blog about how he’s leased cars on TWO different occasions in Is it ever ok to Lease a car?
